Dove Dale Cheese should be available April/May 2010!
All our cheeses are Hand Made using local Staffordshire Cows' Milk, collected from farms on the outskirts of Leek. Being traditionally made, they are all very tasty, each with its own unique character.


Our Staffordshire cheese has recently received a Protected Designation of Origin Award (PDO) and is made in accordance with a rediscovered monastic recipe, and can only be produced from milk from cows kept on Staffordshire farms.
All the milk we use is pasteurised milk, and our cheeses are suitable for vegetarians.
We offer the following range of cheeses

Archie's Choice - a black waxed slightly crumbly cheese with added cream. Similar to a Lancashire type cheese.

Captain Smith's Beer Cheese. - cheese is washed in beer, which adds to the flavour of the cheese

Captain Smith's & Garlic - a crumbly cheese washed in real ale with added garlic.

Cheddleton & Chives - a crumbly cheese with chives added

Moorlander Oak Smoked - a smoked cheese with gentle aromas



The Staffordshire - a cloth bound cheese which is matured for at least three months. This cheese has received a European Designation of Origin mark which protects food names on the basis of their regionality.

Archie's vintage - Matured for at least nine months. This is a slightly crumbly cheese with a tangy flavour

Apple Crumble -
Our new cheese for 2008 - we wash the cheese curds in english apple juice before pressing. A refreshing medium flavoured cheese. We think you will like it!
